Something to talk about…

The title of this post refers to what I need!  My past several posts (or more) have been simply picture posts.  While that is great for “scrapbook” aspect of this blog, and for the grandparents and other family members to see what Caroline is up to, I haven’t felt like I’ve had much interaction with anyone out there.  I’m not sure that too many people actually read what I’m saying, but I do know that lots of you are dropping by to take at least take a peek.

I’ve looked back at some of my older posts, and realized that I actually used to talk about things that were going on in my life or, at very least, in pop culture.  I even used to take the time to write down the stupid strange things my kids at school said.  Well, they haven’t suddenly become philosophers.  The funny things are still being said, but I guess I’m just too lazy (or forgetful) to mention them here.

So…maybe y’all could give me a few ideas.  Maybe ask some questions or give me some topics to ponder or rant about.  I’m always up for a good “survey” thing that people forward to each other in emails.  Anyone, anyone?

Oh, and here are some cute pictures of the girl today.  She has a serious love for accessories…shoes, purses, watches, jewelry…just like her Momma.  Here she is showing off some of her favorite shoes.

These are what she was wearing as “shoes” after bath time this morning.  They are little plastic cups from her kitchen.  Strange.

She finally decided to try on the new Nikes Grammy bought her last week.  I think she approves of them.  She didn’t want to take them off to get dressed.  I told Darren she looked like a professional marathon runner in the onesie and sneakers.  She’s so funny.

This was while we were getting dressed for church.  These leggings are a tad bit long, I think.  They came all the way up to her chest.  I couldn’t resist a picture of this!  And notice she’s wearing (yet another) pair of shoes.  She’s working on her flip-flop proficiency. :)

Have I mentioned that there’s less than a MONTH of school left??  Only 3 more Sunday nights after tonight! :)  Have a great week, everyone!!
