Okay, "chick" probably isn't the best way to refer to the newly announced VP nominee, but that's just my style. John McCain has just introduced Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska, as his vice-presidential running mate. A quick visit to Wikipedia tells me that she's a mother of 5 (wow!), the youngest of whom is only 4 months old, and that she returned to work only 3 days after giving birth! What a super-woman! As Darren said about her, she's a "gun-totin', hockey playin', former beauty queen". I think he's already got a crush!
It'll be interesting now to see how the next couple of months pan out...
Well, multiply Darren's crush by ten and you've got Eric's love-fest. I called him this afternoon at work to complain about a cookie issue at preschool and he quickly turned the conversation to the newly-named VP nominee! He,too, was all over the NRA stuff and was totally impressed with her child-bearing stats! I'm mixed on the issue...not sure a female nominee will carry the party through, but I'm interested to see how it pans out. I haven't heard from you, so assume most all is well. Garrett turns three tomorrow! No more baby...he's now my big boy, too!
