Please remember to exercise your right to vote today! Hopefully, you have taken the time to education yourself on the issues and candidates, but at the very least, vote your conscience! As a civics teacher, I guess I take this more seriously than others, but it really shouldn't be that way. I'm shocked at the number of eligible citizens who don't take advantage of this wonderful freedom we have. Please vote today!(My name is Jennifer and I approve this message! ;-)
Kedrin and I were at the polls bright and early. He gets so jazzed about understanding the issues and voting. (He even got his tardy excused by the principal because he was exercising "his" civic duty!)
ReplyDeleteI'm on my way this afternoon...Can't wait and have been preaching to the kids for the last two days about voting when they are old enough and knowing that whomever is elected today will have a direct effect on their immediate futures (college tuition problems, legal adult status-18, and taxes...yuck). They asked why I was talking about the stuff you should be talking about. Well, when your twin feels passionately about something, so do you...at least that's what I said. They're so gullible! :0)
