I was Yahoo-ing a certain "how-to" question today when I stumbled upon this cool site called "Cut Out + Keep"! It's dedicated to helping those of us creativity-challenged people who insist on trying to be crafty. Here are a few of my faves so far!
Let me just say that most of what you find on this site is very homemade looking, but there are some techniques worth checking out.
