So, here goes...
This week we marked a new milestone (and it made me sad). We went from this...
to this...
Then we celebrated an early Valentine's Day with Grammy Friday morning before Mommy left for work. This little puppy talks and sings and she ♥s him SO much!

Friday afternoon the mailman brought Caroline a sweet bunny card from Gigi and Papa...and $10 to put in her piggy bank! Look here to see what she tried to do with the $10.

Then today we went to Springdale to see Nana, and to have her do our taxes. She got Caroline her very first (of several, I'm sure) Elmo! This one is "Up, Up Elmo"...as in "pick me up"!

Nana also went to lunch with us at Jose's...where Mommy and Daddy cheated on their diet and had blackened chicken nachos! Mmmmmm!

After lunch, we went shopping at the mall. We found this Vera Bradley bottle bag that matches the first diaper bag we ever bought.

When we got home, there was another sweet card in the mail. This was a special one...Caroline's first Valentine request!

We decided to try something new tonight...peas! They weren't exactly a hit. We'll try 'em again tomorrow!

Here's Caroline and her little toy posse. They didn't stay seated very long. Soon they were all scattered on their backs and sides...just like her!

Mommy got her some new sunglasses today...very Hollywood, huh?

That's it for this week! It was fast and furious...just the way I like it...at least when school's in session!!

Wow - I bet it did make you sad switching car seats! What a big girl!! It's crazy how fast they grow, huh? See you later this morning @ church!
ReplyDeleteWhat a week! The whole car seat thing was one of my favorite milestones! I was SO ready to get rid of the carrier carseat!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of her smiling at her(Nana?) was sooooo sweet! What a happy face!
ReplyDeleteAre you off tomorrow? If so, I'll make Caroline some bows and bring them to you! (I have a dr appt!!)
Sounds like a great week! I can't imagine Parker every being in a big boy car seat!
ReplyDeleteI love Vera Bradley! Cute bottle bag!
You've been very busy! I love the pic with all her little "friends" lined up just waiting to pounce and join the fun. And how sweet that she's already breaking hearts!
ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to get Joe some new sunglasses because he loves to wear mine. Caroline's are very chic! I'm glad she liked her Valentine!
ReplyDeleteShe's getting so big! Before you know it, you'll be chasing her around! It just happens so fast!! :( BTW, I love love love the little outfit with the hearts on it. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteWe're about to have to move up to the convertible carseat, too. I've been waiting as long as possible, because AJ still can't quite sit up on her own in a grocery cart.
ReplyDeleteHey, big week. What car seat did you choose and why? I am trying to decide what one to buy. We are going to get one this week. Why are these decisions so hard?
ReplyDeleteHow big was she at her six month? Looks like she likes her veggies.
