I’m pretty sure the “terrible twos” have arrived…and with great timing, since today’s was girl’s 2nd birthday. The day started wonderfully with sliding on her new treehouse/slide at 7:00 am, but slid to pretty low depths with several major meltdowns at her 2-year checkup. This also happened to be the first and only time Daddy couldn’t make it to the doctor’s office. She is also under the belief that 2-year-olds have earned the right to stand on ottomans and chairs and throw their baby doll strollers. All of this being said, she ended her first day of being 2 by giving me the BEST goodnight kisses, complete with holding my face and saying “muah” as she kissed me! ;) Doesn’t get much better than that!

She loves the stroller WAY more than the baby. She replaced baby with Elmo.
Her Papa (my dad) came for a short visit last weekend, and bought her her first tricycle. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a floor model for her to test drive, so we didn’t realize it was too big (right now) until we had it assembled and brought it home. We’ll just have to wait until spring.
Just wanted to wrap up with her stats from the doctor. She is growing like a weed!
Weight: 28 lbs (50th-75th percentile)
Height: 37.5 in (>97th percentile)
There’s something out there that says that you can take a child’s height at age 2 and double it to get their adult height. If this is the case, she’ll be about 6’2”. Hmmm…interesting! ;)
