My "baby" is almost 2...

Last night, I asked Maggie "Are you my baby?" and she responded "No, Momma...beeeg gur!" (No Mother, I'm a big girl.) She will be two years old in just 4 days...makes me a little sad. Thought I'd just record a few things I want to remember about my "baby" before she becomes a "big girl".

• She still says "momma" instead of "Mommy", which is was Caroline has been calling me since she was about 2.
• She is FIESTY!! There's a reason her nickname is "Drama Queen". She can throw a fit with the best of 'em. But she's also hilarious!
• She is really starting to talk up a storm! Her new favorite thing to say is "Shewww...Nassy!" ;)
• She's finally starting to fill out her size 4 diapers. She was in a size 3 at about 9 months and could still fit into one if she had to until just about a month ago...at 22 months old!
• She's wearing mostly 18 month clothes, although we can get away with a few 2Ts. Her little waist it so slim that lots of pants and jeans kinda sag on her.
• She still goes to bed at 7:00 with little or no disagreement. We'll sometimes hear her babbling or cry out in the night a little, but usually we just ignore it and she stops. Occasionally, we just go put her "bee-bee" (paci) back in and she's fine. If she wakes before 6:30, she'll often shout "Momma!! Dadda!!"...but, again, if we ignore her she'll just stay laying down and chill out until we come get her. She seems to have ZERO desire to get out of her crib. With Caroline, we transitioned her to a toddler bed right before she was 2. It was torture on us. She was a crib kid and wasn't ready. We are thinking we'll just leave Maggie in her crib until she goes to kindergarten. ;) She's cozy there, why mess with it?
• She is a terror to her big sister sometimes. The other day, Maggie had Caroline pinned to the floor. Caroline shouted "Can somebody give me a hand over here?" ;) Don't worry about her, though. She weighs about twice as much as baby sis...she'll be fine.
