Just a quick little post to let y'all in on a great shopping tip I got from my cousin, Sarah...
If you've never heard of it before, you MUST MUST MUST check out Endless.com! In addition to having an ENORMOUS selection of shoes, everything ships for FREE.....and, get this.....OVERNIGHT!!! I ordered these cute Jessica Simpson kitten-heel pumps on Sunday night, and got them today! I think the overnight only applies if you order during the business day, but less than 48 hours is awesome for a Sunday night impulse buy!

Oh, and on a related note...I just have to say how excited I was to find this style of shoe again! I bought a couple pairs about 3 years ago...very low heel and pointed toe...and after having Caroline last year, I discovered that my feet actually got longer! (went from an already big 9.5 to a huge 10!) I'm sure that's because my arches "fell" after carrying around so much extra weight. They say that actually stretched your feet in length. Anyway, I can't really wear regular-height heels, because at 5'7", most of my pants are just barely long enough without adding high heels. I can't STAND when my pants hover more than a 1/2 inch above the floor!
But, after discovering that my pre-baby dress shoes didn't fit anymore, I also discovered that my favorite style wasn't "in" anymore either! So, I'm thrilled to have found these!! I'm going to order them in black, too!
Anyone else have this experience with post-baby feet?? :)

I didn't buy shoes the whole time I was pregnant other than a couple of Payless flats b/c I was soooo afraid my feet would grow! The last month of my pregnancy, my shoes were a little tight & I bought a half-size bigger in those flats.
ReplyDeleteBut, little P is 8 months old now and I'm lucky to say mine didn't grow permanently. I guess it was water retention/swelling.

My feet have grown with each pregnancy, too! And I ALSO started out at size 9. So now I do a lot of shopping on Zappos...not only am I a size 10, but most normal widths won't work and I need a wide. (I shudder to think what size I'll be wearing after I deliver this one!) I jokingly call them my duck feet--they are SO not feminine anymore. Oh well, the price was well worth the outcome of my babes!!
