2nd Annual Commenting Challenge…

de-lurking

Although it’s not officially “blog de-lurking week” (I think that’s in January), Jenna of Jenna’s Journey is hosting a link-up called the “2nd Annual Commenting Challenge” as a way to meet and follow some new bloggers. You can go to her page to “link up”, then choose ten blogs each day starting tomorrow (July4) and comment on each of them. You can choose ten different blogs each day or return to the same ones. Ten comments per day…that’s not too hard! :) It sounds like a fun way to “meet” some new friends!

I don’t know about y’all but I tend to “lurk” on lots of different blogs, never making my presence known, except in their “feedjit” links. I see lots of people coming to my blog from far-away (and some not so far) places and am always curious how they found me and what keeps them coming back. I am going to make a conscious effort to be less shy about commenting on others’ blogs and hope my “silent” readers will do the same! :)

    I'm coming here from Jenna's blog.  I just spent an hour reading your blog.  Your girls are both so pretty and you take amazing pictures.  I just got my first shellac manicure on Fri and I LOVE it!  Yours looks great.  I am going to be following your blog now.  Hope you'll stop by and see mine too.

    Hi Jodi! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read! :) I love my Shellac nails! I've had French manicure twice, and will probably try the lighter American manicure next time. I also LOVE my glittery Rockstar toes! They are lasting a long time and I'm already having trouble deciding what color to get next time.

    So, I just found you through Jenna's blog, and it is so fun to find people who I have a lot in common with.  First - two girls - best thing ever.  Secondly - love the Hogs.  Thirdly - have the same chair in our nursery.  Fourthly - Have some of the same strollers as well.  Fifthly (this list turned long) - just discovered the wonders of the Shellac french manicure.  Amazing.  Nice to meet you - your blog is precious, and you take great pictures!
