For the “Grands”…

Since we are sitting under a few inches of snow and ice, Caroline’s Grammy and Pops (Darren’s parents) weren’t able to drive over and see her open her presents this morning.  Also, her Nana and Pop (my mom and stepdad) and Papa and Gigi (my dad and stepmom) live waaay out of town, so I’m going to have to rely on photos to show them Caroline’s Christmas morning!

Caroline chose a WONDERFUL gift for Mommy and Daddy…she slept in until 7:30!!

I wasn’t quite sure what she’d do when she saw the gifts under the tree and her Cozy Coupe and the kitchen…but she absolutely LOVED them!!  Well, she really wasn’t all that into the wrapped gifts, but she can’t stay out of her car and kitchen!  She wouldn’t even eat breakfast (actually not that unusual for the child who hates to eat) because she couldn’t WAIT to get back to her kitchen.  After half of her milk and a few bits of Oreo (it’s Christmas!), we turned her loose again.  She is having SO much fun this morning! :)

Now, the roast is the crockpot, “Christmas Vacation” is on the TV and we are settled (well, iced/snowed) in for the day.  Sadly, I don’t think it’s safe for us to get out to go to Mass. :(  Maybe we’ll just watch EWTN from the couch!
