We really ARE having a WHITE CHRISTMAS in ARKANSAS!!! Apparently, this is the first time since 1975 that we’ve had snow in this city! I usually spent my Christmases in Kansas when I was a kid, so this isn’t my first official White Christmas…but it’s certainly special!! It’s just so beautiful out there!
We weren’t planning on going this year, but I’m still sad that our priest had to cancel Midnight Mass because of bad road conditions. Midnight Mass was a tradition for Darren and I, and we were even able to take Caroline last year because she was only 4 months old and could sleep in her carrier. That just wasn’t gonna happen this year! We are planning to go at 10:30 in the morning, but we’ll just have to wait to see what the weather and the roads will permit. I can’t imagine NOT going to Mass for Christmas!
Here’s a little peek at some of the evening's other happenings…
Filling the stockings…
Setting out the girly’s kitchen…
Daddy putting together the Princess Cozy Coupe…30 steps!!!
It looks as if it may be a loooong night for Mommy and Daddy!
I know it’ll all be worth it! :)
Merry Christmas!!!
**UPDATE**
Santa has been here and left these goodies! He is now on the couch eating Oreos and drinking milk. :)

OK...I know I have two boys, but they would totally trade presents with Caroline! They have been drooling over that very same kitchen set for about three years...the playroom just isn't big enough! We had to cut our Christmas Eve family dinner gathering short due to snow and ice. My sister didn't make it from OKC...apparently an official "emergency" had been declared. Supposed to have Christmas dinner at my aunt's, but they may be stuck in Mansfield where they spend the EVE every year...we'll see. Right now, enjoying my mom's famous "nog..." Really, it's never too early for good, quality nog!
