Mini-vacay...

I decided I was due for a little vacation, and since hubs (and about 20 of the staff from his school) were headed to St. Louis for a conference, I thought I'd tag along! I'm excited because I'm really good friends with several of the others, too! It is also a great way to keep me occupied and not thinking about some other things right now. ;)

I did bring my camera along, but haven't taken any pictures yet...other than with my iPhone. I'll go ahead and share a few of those, and hopefully have some better ones from my "real" camera later.

We saw this sign at McDonald's, and wondered if perhaps we were all a little overqualified for the job. And we couldn't figure out what "good works" meant. ::hmph::



Hubs and I ate here last summer when we came for this same conference. He grew up coming here when he would come to STL for ball games. It was awesome! It has a really neat "old" feel to it...kinda like the godfather could walk in at any moment...ha! ;)



In case y'all didn't know, I love to take pictures of incredible meals! Maybe I should post more of them on here! Here's last night's chicken parm...I ate almost ALL of it!





Today, after I do my "carpool" duty to the conference location, I think I'll come back for a leisurely shower, get dressed, maybe have another cup of coffee in the room and then find the OUTLET MALL!! :) I'll let y'all know how that goes!
