Our summer so far…

Let’s see…what have we done so far this summer?  Not much at all!  And it’s been wonderful!

A little back story on the next 2 pictures.  Caddy stays at our house with her Grammy (my MIL) while we are at work during the school year.  We are so fortunate to have had a relative take care of her, as well as having her help (a lot) with household chores.  I think you’ll see what Caddy has learned from Grammy in these next pictures.  Let me just say that I didn’t ask or instruct her in how to do this!  I think I’ll keep her for sure!!

After taking lunch to Daddy and running an errand in the heat, we decided to make a Sonic pitstop.  I have introduced Caddy to the apple juice slush, and she approves!  I just make sure I have a sippy to pour it into, to avoid a major mess in the carseat.  She gets a little frustrated, though, when the juice runs dry and there’s only ice left.  She has yet to finish more than half of a small slush, too…so I suppose it’s not going to ruin her meals!

 

Here she is this morning, lazily enjoying her milk with The Wiggles…     

Oh, and I forgot to share this pretty hydrangea we saw at Grammy’s the other night…
