The back-story...Yesterday I placed an online photo order for Grammy to pick up at a local (but not in our town) Wal-Mart on her way home. Pops always get SO excited when he hears he's getting some new pics to show off! (You've seen these pics in a previous post...but they are the one's I ordered for Grammy and Pops.)
She said she was going to pick them up today on her way home.
So, about 4:45, while Caroline and I were out for a walk, we got a call from Grammy. She said she was at Wal-Mart and they wouldn't give her the pictures! They told her that she needed to show them a copyright release...because they thought they were professional photos! Huh????
I was astonished that they wouldn't give them to her! Finally, while she was on the line with me, she convinced them that her daughter-in-law...who is NOT a professional, just takes a good photo...took them!
I thought they were pretty good, myself...but not THAT great! Guess those small-town Wally-World employees have never seen GREAT professional portraiture! :)

ReplyDeleteWell, I guess that photography class we took is actually paying off, huh? All it did was confuse the heck out of me and so I always end up just putting it on automatic...waste of $$$$$. I would help if I actually had time to practice the skills we so carefully honed that certain Saturday long, long ago...or not so long ago...
