Let me start by asking this...Are these pictures too BIG? I learned how to add larger pics by uploading them to Photobucket first, then entering the html codes in the post. Maybe they're too big, though. Let me know what you think!
Anyway, here's a little of what's going on around here...
Caddy had her first official "playdate" this week with Miss Ava! They really weren't sure what to do. They spent the first 10 minutes just sitting and staring at each other! Cute, though...
Here's the latest look for our living room...she has TOTALLY taken over! We are heading up to Nana's today to get a new leather ottoman that she bought us to replace our sharp-cornered coffee table. We are giving the coffee table to Nana and Pop. I will make sure I show pics of the new ottoman. I'm so excited to go get it, but it's stormy today, so I hope the furniture place can wrap it up good enough to survive the truck bed!
Monday night Caddy got a little boo-boo. We were at dinner at our regular Monday night spot, and she leaned too far forward and whacked her forehead! I felt awful, especially since I was talking to someone else and didn't actually see it. I heard the "bonk", then looked back in time to see that horrible, sound-less crying face...about 10 seconds later the wailing began! Nice little red spot on Monday night, but no bruising in the long run!
Finally, another BIG step in our house last night! (This is NOT intended to be a pic of hubby's butt!) We had to lower Caddy's crib mattress! She hasn't pulled up yet, but she is definitely showing signs that it is just around the corner! She likes to turn sideways and try to kick her feet up over the edge of the crib...now she'll have a little harder time doing that!

I LOVE the big pictures!! Is it easy to do?? I would love to do that on my blog!!! Caroline is getting so big....precious, as always!!!

ReplyDeletePulling up was exciting for us....it is so neat to go into Kate's room and see her standing there waiting for us...so fun!!
Also, I loved the necklace pictures. We keep a strand of red beads (that the waiter gave her at a Cajun restaurant when she was FOUR months old...ha)in her diaper bag for church..and whenever we need them. They kept her sound as a pound for an hour an a half Easter Mass. Necklaces/beads are big fun for the babes!!
I'm also very impressed that Caroline will sit in her Bumbo. Since about 7 months, Kate has refused to be confined in anything except car seat and stroller. BIG inconvenience for me at times!! A little time in the ol' jumparoo would allow me to get soooo much done!!
