Blog makeover help!

As many of you already know, I was a "blog designer" in one of my former lives. My skills couldn't keep up, so I just gave up. I didn't love graphic design anymore once I had deadlines and demands to meet. After I put my business on hold, I continued playing around with my own blog design, but I am growing tired (and too busy) to even do this now. I've found a designer that I think I'd like to hire, but I need some opinions and ideas from others first.

As much as I'd like to keep the "Meet the McFamily" name on the blog, I can't help but wonder if there's not something more clever that better describes our family, or just me. Something about the fact that I am a compulsive crafter, or that my husband swims in a sea of estrogen (wife, 2 daughters, female dog, predominately female work environment), or that he and I both have careers in the crazy world of junior high (I teach 9th grade and he's a principal at a rival school). Or perhaps instead of a whole new title for the blog, I just need a catchy "subtitle" or quotation.

So, I turn to you...my loyal (if small in number) readers. Please help me with ideas. Maybe a new look and sassy attitude with help me come back to the blogging world on a more regular basis. Get creative and leave me some feedback...PLEASE!! :)
