Blogsy...

Since I've been such a horrible blogger for about the last 2 years, I've been searching for a better way yo keep up on here. I've been using BlogPress on both my phone and iPad for a while, but decided to Google a better app for blogging on the go. My search led me to Blogsy. We'll see how it works out. I need some motivation. Anyone else have suggestions for mobile blogging? I sure hope this is a good app, considering I've already paid $4.99 for it!!

Here's a screen shot of the open app. You can see that it gives you lots of control over formatting, which is a must for a control freak like me! You can set it up to access your Facebook and Instagram accounts, then you can drag photos directly from there to the blog post. That is awesome for me, since so much of what I do in social networking is on those two apps/sites.
Here's a little sample of photos from my Instagram the past few days...
Here's my "casual Monday" outfit for today...

My silly little monkey...
My big girl wearing Grammy's old lens-less glasses...

Having a fun girls night of sushi and Breaking Dawn 2...

We had so much fun at dinner that we got there about 10 minutes before the show time and had to sit on the front row. Oh well!

Something else I've been slightly obsessed with lately is crocheting. Specifically, crocheting chunky infinity scarves. After many pitiful mistakes, I think I've figured out a good pattern. Here are a few of the ones I've made for myself.

Finally, a few outtakes from the past week...

Tiny girl's first ponytail!!

A Dr. Seuss birthday party...

Cheese dip for dinner on the couch...

Guess I'll leave it at this for now. Maybe this Blogsy app will encourage me to keep better track here on the ol' blog! See ya soon...hopefully!! :)

  1. I had used BlogPress in the past as well, but wasn't ever consistent with it. I use Windows Live Writer from my laptop and I love it, so it's hard for me to find an app that is comparable. This one actually looks like it would be! You'll have to let me know what you think after you've used it for a couple of weeks. Why won't iTunes let us try things out for like a 24 hour period?? :)

    1. I love Windows Live Writer, too! I found it about 2-3 years ago and used it whenever I'm on my laptop. I'm often just too lazy to actually haul it out! I am also slightly OCD about the pictures I post...I prefer that they're all edited perfectly. But I feel like I can overlook that with Instagram pics, so this is good that I can literally "pull" them from Instagram into the blog post. I'll try to post again about it!
