Thanksgiving post...finally!

I'm going back and revising this post, since Blogsy actually worked and my pictures posted with no problems! I'll go ahead and add the captions for the photos. :)

I downloaded a great new app last week called Blogsy, with the hopes that it would help me blog more frequently from my iPad. And as great as it is, I've run into a few snags with it not being able to post all of my photos from Instagram...which is where 99% of my photos are these days.

So, since I'm tired of trying to figure out what is wrong with my big, long, descriptive Thanksgiving post, I'm just going to try to post some of the pictures and cross my fingers they'll all show up! Besides, who really wants to read a bunch of words when you can just look at pictures? :) (You could just pretend to know what is going on in each one. Maybe make up your own captions!)

Caroline decided a little sass was necessary on Thanksgiving morning. So Mommy and Daddy decided that an iPad, TV and purple Christmas tree were NOT necessary in her room for a few days.
Eventually she settled down and played "nice mommy" to her babies.
I retrieved Olive the Elf (the big one) and Carol ("my" elf from my moms...really, it's just an old one she had) from their 11-month exile in my closet.
Made some yummy "skinny" pumpkin pie dip...
Was a little shocked that I was comfortable in short sleeves on Thanksgiving. In fact, the scarf was only a fashion statement, as I actually got HOT in it.
This tiny girl decided a nap was needed before lunch.
Something just told me these were the best shoe choice for the day.
Mags loves to wear Pawpaw's hat.
Caroline is really getting to be a great helper. She helped Grammy and Nana set the table.
This may be my favorite picture of the day. Headed out to check on the cows!
This is Darren's great aunt Phyl. Both girls got some good singing time in with her.
She's awfully shy around strangers, but loves to put on a "show" at Grammy's. Obviously, there are no rules at Grammy's house...hence the dancing on the coffee table (trunk).
You can tell it was almost time to go by the little hissy fit this one threw.
This qualified as nap time on the way home...
I told myself I wasn't going to "track" and just enjoy myself for the day. But the OCD took over and I just had to know what all I had consumed. I decided on Friday instead not to track for the rest of the weekend...and ended up with a 3.7 lb gain by Monday morning! Must've been water weight, because I was down 2.2 this morning.
The Little People nativity...always a hit!
And finally, I was pleasantly surprised by a new episode of Glee before bed. :)
