2-Month Checkup

Today was Caroline's 2-month checkup, and we found out what we already knew...she is a "tall", skinny girl! She is 24 inches long (95th percentile) and weighs 11 lbs 10 oz (39th percentile). Dr. Cheshier says if she continues to grow at this rate, she'll be a pretty tall girl...just what we hoped for! Like Daddy says, only 4 more feet and she should be ready for a basketball or volleyball scholarship! She also got her first round of shots. :( She got 4 immunizations, but only had to have 2 injections, and one oral dose. She screamed pretty loud with each injection, but didn't cry afterward. None of the crocodile tears I've always heard about...and Caroline didn't shed a tear either! :) We started her on Tylenol after, so hopefully she won't feel any side effects. So far, so good! Keep us in your thoughts!

  1. Wow...she's paving her way through college already! Scholarship, here she comes! Were you able to get her immunizations in the office? We have really good insurance, but have always had to go to the health dept...ick. I see former students every single time I go in there! It's very frustrating...paying out the butt for insurance, but still having to go sit in the middle of all the sick people at "The Department." It may sound snobby, but I just hate it. More than that, I detest taking little ones in there. Thank goodness most of that is behind us...until next time (I've been told two years).
