Pretty in Blue...

Most of you who know me know that when I was making preparations for Miss Caroline's arrival, I was pretty much "anti-pink". Well, as far as her nursery and other items like the stroller, carseat, diaper bags, etc. She has lots of pretty pink clothes thanks to all the kind people who came to our showers, but I find myself gravitating towards all non-pink little girls clothes. I especially love this little blue and white striped shirt from BabyGap. It has cute little ruffled sleeves and tuxedo pleats on the front...I would love to have this in my size!
It's a classic look with a white tee and blue jeans.
Looks like she's having a sweet dream...
Caroline will be baptized tomorrow! This is her gown, made by Julie Hankins, the wife of one of the deacons at St. Boniface. She used fabric from my mom's and my wedding dresses!! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I can't wait for it to be passed down through our family!
The contrasting cream piping and trim on the sleeves is from my mom's dress...
These buttons on the back are from my wedding dress, as well as the tulle overlay...
This lace applique and pleating at the bottom are from my mom's dress...
Little Red Riding Hood is ready for the Northside game! She enjoys showing off how tough she is! :-)

  2. That comment was deleted because I had a typo! I was saying that I couldn't believe I missed this post yesterday. I love that dress. How did you get the idea to do that? I would've never thought to do something like that. I remember when we baptized Parker. It was the sweetest day. I think I cried the entire service, besides trying to keep him quiet during the service. Please post pics, but I know you will!
