(Disclaimer: this is another post about a show that I should have outgrown 12 or so years ago, but I didn't...)
By far, the best line on last night's "90210" came in the first 15 minutes of the show! Let me set it up a little...Brenda gets a cell phone call while talking to Kelly and Ryan (Mr. Matthews) in the hallway. She tells Kelly it's Dylan. Later, Ryan asks who Dylan is and Kelly tells him he's the father of her son. She also tells him she's not ready for a relationship because she doesn't know exactly what to expect from Dylan. Here's the great line, though...Ryan asks her if she has her phone with her today, and she says "Yeah, why?"...(here it comes)...Ryan replies "Just wondering...If Dylan wanted to talk to you, why was he calling Brenda?" Ooooh!!! That's gotta hurt! :) The old-school high school drama returns! I love it!
i have to keep up with 90210 through you....i cant seem to remember that it is on and when it is on....so keep the updates coming.
ReplyDeleteOUCH!!!! That had to hurt! Poor Kelly, she's still such a sucker and caught in the middle. Some people never learn. You know, she was portrayed kind of a bitch in her teens, but I really like her character as an adult...she's grown, so to speak. But, like I said, she'll never learn. It does set up a certain suspense, though, for those of us hanging on every tidbit from the old days that we can get. It's like Bella and Edward...if Stephanie Meyer were to come out with a new book for them in, say, ten or so years, I'd be the first in line. It's like a drug, these characters we get attached to. Just glad I'm not the only one. :0) I know you aren't looking forward to coming back, but I'm looking forward to seeing you back. Miss you and hang in there!
