Here goes...
1. I try my hardest to be a perfectionist, but just can't quite get it together in all areas of my life...i.e. my horrendous closet!
2. I am a self-professed control freak! Sadly, if everything could be done my way, it would be.
3. I sometime wonder if I'm too friendly. I can talk to just about anyone. I'm that person who will make smalltalk with strangers in line...as long as there's something interesting to say. I'm not totally crazy!
4. I am not always really nice to teenagers who work at fast-food places. I'm sorry, if they haven't learned proper manners and customer service skills, why should I return the favor.
5. I often contradict myself...see #s 3 and 4!
6. I worry ALL the time that there is something wrong with my baby...even though I'm sure she's fine. Does this happen to every mother?
7. I'm not worried about the "direction" our country is headed in...at least not the way the media says I should. I'm not concerned about the world coming to an end anytime soon because of global warming or political corruption. I do, however, worry about how pop-culture is going to affect Caroline as she grows up.
8. I think I watch too much TV sometimes. I'm thinking about trying to limit myself only to those shows I really like, and then just DVR them, and watch them later.
9. I worry that I shouldn't be letting Caroline watch so much TV. But really, she LOVES "Handy Manny" already...I can't take her first crush away from her!
10. I worry too much.

See #6. I worry about how much B is eating... too much of this not enough of that...It comes from our issues with him being early, not eating enough, becoming jaundice and losing weight after he came home. Totally understand the worry factor.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on #6. I try SO hard not to compare Ava with other babies but sometimes I do and then I start the, "I wonder if something's wrong with her..." :)
ReplyDeleteI also worry about culture as Ava grows up. I've said many times how hard it's going to be when she's a teenager. All we can do is instill good values in them now and then PRAY!
Thanks for playing along! I so relate to these!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on #6 and #10... I worry too much about my little one and worry in general, even if there is no reason to.
ReplyDeleteHey! I found you through Becca (I posted a list too). I feel your pain on the whole "watching too much tv" thing. My 13 month old can hear the jingle on sprout and it stops him dead in his tracks! And Wheel of Fortune!
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. Your #2 should also be in my list. I can't believe I forgot that because it's something that drives me crazy about myself. I'm with you on the Tv thing too. But sometimes it's the only way we (as moms) can get anything done.
ReplyDeleteI could have written so much of that myself! I worry too much too. I agree about the pop culture thing. I've only had one baby/been pregnant one time, but I worried every day that there was something wrong with her. And she turned out just fine...so far. :)
