Jen Gets Fancy...

As many of you may already know, I've recently discovered my hidden "talent"...blog layout design. I'm obsessed, and I love to do it!

I've done quite a few makeovers for free, but have been toying with the idea charging for my services. Part of me kept saying no, mainly because of licensing and tax reasons. I also worry (a little) that the pressure of a deadline and getting paid for doing it will take away the pleasure of doing it.

Well, I've finally reconciled some of these issues, and have decided to start charging. Granted, I'm not gonna rake in the big bucks doing this...but hopefully I'll have a little extra spending cash.

I've set up an arrangement with a friend of mine from high school who is a digital scrapbook designer, so for now I will be using her kits exclusively. She is amazing and has a wide array of themes to choose from! You can check her out by clicking here...

My base price is going to be $30, which will include:

• custom background
• custom header (with up to 3 of your personal photos)
• 2-column layout (extra $3 for 3-column layout)
• up to 4 sidebar labels (to go over your "Followers", "Favorites", etc)

Extras available for the following prices:

• custom blog button for your friends to "grab" from your sidebar ($5)
• custom "favicon"...the little icon next to your URL ($5)

I estimate that my wait-list time will probably be about 7-10 days. I'll require 50% payment upfront, and will have a preview page for customers to see the design and let me know of any changes before final payment and installation.

I'm working on getting my "Jen Gets Fancy" page updated with this info, but just wanted to let y'all know about it now!
