Most of you out there who know me in real life know that I love listening to music. I am addicted to iTunes and I have almost 3,000 songs on my iPod!
Soooo, I was listening to some shuffled songs today, and it stopped on one I hadn't heard in a while and it just happened to be a song that contains one of my all-time favorite lyrics. It also just happened to be a song by my all-time favorite artist......wait for it......John Mayer! (By the way, if you really know me, I wouldn't even have had to say his name.)
Anyway, it got me thinking about other lines from songs that really "speak" to me. Sometimes I've just got to get things down in writing, or these things just pile up inside my head and make it hard for the important stuff to get through.
Therefore...I am initiating a new segment of this blog, which shall be known as "Lyrics I Like". Feel free to join in!
Now, for the line that made me do this...and a few others.

Oh holy cow, I love this idea! I am all about lyrics. If you don't mind, one of these days, I'm going to borrow your idea (with full credit to your creative genius, of course).
